About Carley
Carley Moore is an essayist, novelist, and poet. Her work has appeared in The American Poetry Review, Brainchild, The Brooklyn Rail, The Establishment, GUTS, The Journal of Popular Culture, The Nervous Breakdown, and Public Books. She is a Clinical Professor of Writing and Culture and Creative Production in the Global Liberal Studies Program at New York University. She is also a long-time Associate for Bard College’s Institute for Writing and Thinking, where she designs and leads workshops on writing-based teaching for middle school, high school, and college teachers across the country.
Currently, Carley is working on a semi-autobiographical novel called The Not Wife.
Her debut collection of essays, 16 Pills, is forthcoming coming from Tinderbox Editions in 2017.
Carley lives in New York City.
